DESCRIPTION
Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee started his public life as a educationist. He was Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calcutta. After that he entered politics. In Bengal's provincial politics, the Muslim League fought communalism, supported the justifications and rights of the Hindus as the leader of the Hindu Mahasabha and opposed the policy of appeasement of the Congress, participating in the National Liberation Movement and the complete independence of India When the indispensable situation of partition of the country was created, Bengal was divided and Bang Rescued large parts of Pakistan from going to Pakistan.
After independence, he laid the foundations of industrial development in India as an industry minister in the Nehru cabinet and resigned from the Union Cabinet after disagreed with Nehru's policies on the issue of persecution and eviction of Hindus of East Pakistan. Experiencing the need of national choice of Congress in politics, establishment of Jana Sangh. On the question of Kashmir, Dr. Mukherjee opposed the separatist policies of Sheikh Abdullah; The end of Article 370 and the Jammu and Kashmir's liberation for the whole of India and the struggle for its livelihood.The question of Kashmir is still unresolved.
